He ensures HITRUST’s external messaging and brand resonate with clients and prospects as the company expands its reach in Europe and Asia as well as across multiple industries. Steve has spent his career building brands and expanding their market reach for business-to-business and business-to-consumer enterprises.

Carl Anderson

Chief Legal Officer, Senior Vice President – Government Affairs

Carl Anderson leads an in-house legal team providing legal advice and recommendations on matters related to global legal strategies including human resources, real estate, antitrust and global compliance/regulations, as well as key business transactions and venture opportunities. He manages the public policy portfolio and monitors federal and state legislative and regulatory activities. He also leads the advocacy activities before the House of Representatives and Senate as well and federal and state agencies.

Bryan provides thought leadership on risk management and compliance and develops the methodologies used in various components of the HITRUST Approach. This includes a focus on the design of the HITRUST CSF and the assessment and certification models used in the HITRUST CSF Assurance Programs, for which he provides technical direction and oversight. He’s also responsible for addressing emerging trends impacting risk management and compliance to ensure the HITRUST Approach sets the bar for organizations seeking the most comprehensive privacy and security frameworks available. Bryan previously served as HITRUST’s Vice President of Standards and Analysis.

Jason oversees the ongoing development and evolution of the HITRUST CSF to ensure its relevancy and continued sufficiency with our clients. This includes a broad range of HITRUST risk management framework support such as requirements integration and control specifications. He also oversees HITRUST’s internal information assurance efforts to ensure that we continue to earn and keep the confidence of our customers and third parties who have entrusted HITRUST with the safekeeping of their data.

Jeremy is responsible for the quality and integrity of HITRUST’s CSF Assurance Program to ensure all organizations who receive the HITRUST CSF Certification are receiving the best advice available to improve their security posture. Jeremy also establishes and implements an effective compliance program to prevent illegal, unethical or improper conduct of HITRUST employees, approved HITRUST assessor organizations, and other external organizations. He demonstrates his hands-on leadership style by leading HITRUST’s training classes along with other company experts to educate new assessors on how to serve our shared clients who are implementing the HITRUST CSF.

Anne Kimbol

Assistant General Counsel – Chief Privacy Officer

Anne assists the Chief Legal Officer and Contracts Manager on contractual issues with clients and vendors. She also assists HITRUST in responding to public policy issues that arise at the state, as well as federal and international, level. Anne contributes to internal privacy practices in conjunction with the information security and operations personnel and works closely with the Standards & Analysis team on growing and improving the privacy controls and mappings in the HITRUST CSF. She also identifies key international programs in HITRUST’s areas of expertise, including privacy and broader data protection issues. Anne is recognized by the International Association of Privacy Professionals as a Fellow of Information Privacy.

Michael Parisi

Vice President of Assurance Strategy & Community Development

Mike assesses current assurance programs and determines needed enhancements to help address organizational security and privacy challenges in the marketplace. He spearheads the development of new assurance programs and strategies to help address emerging customer challenges and regulations surrounding privacy and security. He contributes to the business by educating organizations on the multiple attributes of the HITRUST Approach, including resource savings in time and money. Mike also leads HITRUST’s community efforts to help further the adoption of our standards and programs across multiple industries, global geographies, and regulatory bodies.

Bimal Sheth

Vice President, Assurance Services

Bimal leads the HITRUST Assurance Program; his team is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the HITRUST Certification program through quality assurance reviews of all submitted assessments and the production of final reports as well as deploying training for the CCSFP Certification. He is also responsible for communicating with assessors and customers during the quality assurance process and works closely with the Compliance team to design, develop, and implement new solutions to optimize the quality assurance process.
